FEBRUARY 2012 NEWSLETTER

PARENT COFFEE – FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3rd
Come join us at Einstein Bagels at the corner of Long Prairie and Cross Timbers Roads at 9 A.M. for coffee, bagels and a parent meeting to keep you informed about what is going on at our school.  We are currently working on the end of year party and spring activities.
 
VALENTINE’S DAY PARTY – FEBRUARY 13TH
We will be having a Valentine’s Day Party at the school on Monday, February 13th for the children.  Full day students will need to bring a lunch that day.  Dessert treats and fruit will be provided at our party.  Please have your child wear red, pink, or purple on February 13th.  Students are encouraged to bring in Valentine’s Day cards for their classmates.  Please address cards with a general greeting (To My Friend, for instance) and not a specific name.  Look for more information in the Zip-loc bags.  Please send in your Valentines by Thursday, February 9th, so that students who are not at school on Monday will have the opportunity to participate!   Here is the number of students for each teacher:

NEW FACES AT MCDS
You may have noticed a new face at MCDS.  We would like to introduce Mrs. Annette Wilkes, and her business Stepping Stones Therapy for Kids.  Mrs. Wilkes is a pediatric occupational therapist.  We welcome her and her business to our building!
